  • North Kansas City Hospital is one of the top hospitals in Missouri and Kansas to receive Cycle II Accreditation with PCI from the Society of Chest Pain Centers. The national accreditation was awarded because of our speed and efficiency in treating chest pain and heart attack symptoms.
  • North Kansas City Hospital is the only Kansas City Hospital designated a HeartCaring hospital by the nationally-recognized Spirit of Women Hospital Network. This designation signifies excellence in gender-sensitive cardiovascular care.
  • Currently a Level II Chest Pain Center, North Kansas City Hospital continues to advance toward Level III status.

Another measure of the quality of the Cardiovascular Center of Excellence lies in the reporting of quality measures to the Joint Commission and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) where North Kansas City Hospital meets or exceeds quality measures when compared to the average U.S. hospital. The Hospital is committed to continued progress on quality measures through its extensive house-wide quality initiatives and patient satisfaction.
